Golf Courses
Keney Park Golf Course's first nine holes were designed by Devereux Emmet and built in 1927. Emmet was a pioneering American Golf Course Architect who designed more than 150 courses. Locally his designs include the Hartford Golf Club and the Country Club of Farmington, and he also designed Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, MD and Riddell's Bay Golf and Country Club in Bermuda.

Welcome to the Tavern at Keney Park. Located minutes from downtown Hartford, we are just minutes away to a great escape for a beautiful wedding location. We host ceremonies on site with an easy transition to cocktail hour and reception location. Enjoy views of the golf course, exceptional cuisine and a magical spot to party and celebrate with loved ones under the stars.

I hosted by sister's bridal shower brunch in August 2018 under the tent and it was wonderful! Table setup was beautiful (got to choose napkin color, nice linens), views of the golf course were a lovely backdrop, staff was attentive and helpful (I had my newborn with me, and they even made me a plate of food and brought me extra waters!), and breakfast was very yummy. We did the waffle bar add-on and it was delightful - my pregnant sister was so thrilled by all the toppings haha. A really cute touch that was so affordable. We were also able to bring in our own cake which was great. Would totally recommend this venue for future events!!!

Great place to have a drink and something to eat after a round of golf or anytime your near the park prices fair i got the grilled chicken w/ bacon&cheese came on on sub very good could only eat half ate the rest next day everyone that works there is friendly and attentive
